The match between Växjö DFF and Älta IF started off in the best possible way for the home team when Anna Anvegård scored in the 24th minute, making it 1-0. Just six minutes later, Anvegård extended the lead to 2-0 following a nice attack. Ritah Kivumbi then increased the lead to 3-0 just before halftime.

However, Älta IF managed to reduce the deficit before halftime through Therese Simonsson, giving them some hope for the second half. But Växjö showed no signs of relaxing, and in the 76th minute, Emma Andersson made it 4-1. Älta quickly responded, though, when Josefin Steger brought the score to 4-2 in the 84th minute.

The match concluded with a beautiful goal from Erika Elg Viktor for Växjö in the 92nd minute, sealing the match and leading to a final score of 5-2 in favor of Växjö DFF.
