Match report:

AIK secured an important victory at Skytteholms IP 1 when they defeated IFK Kalmar 2-1 in Elitettan. Loreta Kullashi was the standout performer, scoring both goals in the first half.

The match started intensely, with AIK taking control from the outset. In the sixth minute, Loreta Kullashi received the ball in the penalty area following a nice pass from her teammate. She did not hesitate and placed the ball in the right corner, giving AIK a 1-0 lead.

IFK Kalmar tried to find their way back into the match by increasing the pressure on AIK, but they struggled to create clear goal-scoring opportunities. Instead, Loreta Kullashi extended AIK's lead in the 62nd minute when she managed to place the ball into the net from close range after a quick turnover.

In the closing moments, IFK Kalmar attempted to create some uncertainty in AIK's defense. In the 90th minute, Mathilda Johansson Prakt had a great chance to reduce the deficit for Kalmar by placing the ball beautifully into the far corner after a nice pass from Sofia Olsson. Despite several attempts, Kalmar was unable to equalize in the dying moments of the match.

AIK took three important points following a strong performance at home and climbed one spot in the table. IFK Kalmar continues to have a mediocre season and needs to improve their form ahead of next season.
