But Älta IF did not give up and began their comeback in the 49th minute when Ellinor Lindbom reduced the score to 1-3. The second half followed with intense action where Therese Simonsson and Astrid Larsson each scored for Älta, bringing the game to a 3-3 tie.

In the 90th minute, it looked like the points would be shared, but at the last moment, Ellinor Lindbom stepped up again and scored her second goal of the day, completing Älta IF’s incredible turnaround to a 4-3 victory.

It was an intense and exciting match where Älta IF showed character by coming back from a 0-3 deficit to win. A true fighting effort that energized the crowd at Älta IP 1 on this Saturday afternoon.
