Östersunds DFF dominated the match from start to finish, with an early opening goal from April Syme after 34 minutes of play. Addison Steiner increased the lead to 2-0, and it seemed like Östersunds would secure the victory without any problems. However, Kungsbacka DFF came to life and reduced the deficit to 2-1 through Maja Henriksson. Unfortunately for the home side, Venera Rexhi converted a confident penalty kick, and the team went into halftime with a 3-1 lead.

The second half was not much better for Kungsbacka DFF, as an unknown player from Östersunds scored to make it 4-1. Kungsbacka did not give up and Klara Andrup managed to score a header that went past the goalkeeper, reducing the score to 4-2. But Östersunds responded quickly, with Josee Stiever extending the lead to 5-2.

Kungsbacka DFF tried to mount a comeback in the match but instead received warnings for several tough tackles against Östersunds players. The match ended 5-2, and Östersunds DFF secured an important away victory. Kungsbacka DFF will need to keep fighting to climb the standings.
