At Gröndals IP 1, IFK Kalmar faced Assi IF in an exciting match in Elitettan on Sunday afternoon in front of an audience of 2,097 spectators. The match was officiated by Ulrica Löv, assisted by Rasmus Stjernsten Wirstam and Mattis Andersson.

Before the match started, IFK Kalmar was in 2nd place in the table while Assi IF was in 4th place. After the match, neither team's positions would change.

However, it was IFK Kalmar that started the strongest, and just four minutes into the game, Assi IF received a warning. Only a minute later, IFK Kalmar was awarded a penalty, which Amanda Arnautovic successfully converted to give IFK Kalmar a 1-0 lead.

In the 36th minute, Arnautovic scored her second goal of the day, extending IFK Kalmar's lead to 2-0. Assi IF, however, did not give up and managed to reduce the deficit with a corner goal by Elin Nilsson in the 40th minute. But just before the halftime whistle, Erin Gunther scored a header for IFK Kalmar, and the team went into halftime with a 3-1 lead.

At halftime, Johanna Antti was substituted for Josefine Hansson for Assi IF. But just two minutes into the second half, IFK Kalmar increased their lead again with a goal from Layet Valerie Carlson.

In the 62nd minute, Elin Nilsson managed to score her second goal for Assi IF, bringing the score to 2-4. Assi IF substituted Moa Öhman for Paulina Hedquist in the 67th minute, while IFK Kalmar brought in Ida Andersson for Carlson in the 70th minute.

In the 72nd minute, Assi IF was awarded a penalty, which Fernanda Da Silva scored, reducing the score to 3-4. However, IFK Kalmar remained unaffected, and Elsa Karlsson scored for the team in the 82nd minute, reigniting hope for the home team.

Amanda Arnautovic completed her hat trick with her third goal of the day in the 89th minute, making it a 6-3 victory for IFK Kalmar. IFK Kalmar substituted Camilla Näslund for Erin Gunther in the 90th minute, but the final score remained unchanged.
