It was an afternoon filled with excitement at Tingbergsvallen A as Kungsbacka DFF faced Mallbackens IF Sunne in an important match in Elitettan. In front of an audience of nearly 2000, the match started with a high tempo, with both teams fighting hard to take the lead.

However, it was the home team, Kungsbacka DFF, that would take the lead early in the match. Mallbackens IF Sunne substituted Hedvig Pettersson for Anna Lindgren shortly after the goal, and Kungsbacka DFF responded by bringing on Loza Abera for Klara Folkesson in the 70th minute.

With the match finely poised and nerves running high, it took until the 87th minute for Kungsbacka DFF to get a chance to take the lead. And it was Loza Abera, who had just come on for Folkesson, who became the match hero when she scored to make it 2-1 for the home team.

Mallbackens IF Sunne brought on Amanda Jansson for Susanne Skålberg immediately after the goal, but it would not help. In the third minute of added time, Klara Andrup scored to complete Kungsbacka DFF’s victory with a score of 3-1. Referee Burim Mehmeti blew the whistle shortly after the goal, and the home fans celebrated the win together with the players on the field.
