Assi IF hosted Morön BK at Billerud Korsnäs Arena in front of 210 spectators on a Thursday evening. Referee Annica Torkelsson officiated the match with assistance from Pernilla Lindgren and Stefan Holmlund.

The match started intensely, and in just the second minute, Morön took the lead with a header from Hayley Dowd. Assi quickly responded and equalized through Josefine Hansson in the 13th minute. The game flowed back and forth, but it was Assi who took the lead again with Sanna Yliantilla's header in the 27th minute. Yliantila was on fire and extended Assi's lead with another header in the 32nd minute.

Morön received two yellow cards in the first half, one of which was given to Hanna Göthberg in the 40th minute. The team tried to rally during halftime by substituting Thea Bergsten in for Emma Axelsson.

However, it was Assi who continued to dominate the game. Morön received another yellow card, this time to Emma Viklund in the 70th minute. Assi made several substitutions to maintain the pressure and secure the victory.

The match ended 3-1 in favor of Assi IF, who could celebrate three points in Elitettan. A crucial victory for Assi as they continue to fight in the league.
