It was a sunny Sunday afternoon at Skogsvallen when Morön BK hosted AIK in a match in Elitettan, in front of an audience of 452 people. The referee Thilip Nadarajah was assisted by Emil Lindgren and Per Nilsson on the lines.

The match started evenly with chances at both ends, but it was AIK that took the lead in the 22nd minute through Therese Simonsson. Morön tried to come back but struggled to create dangerous scoring opportunities.

In the 61st minute, AIK made two substitutions, which turned out to be successful as Nicole Odelberg Modin increased the lead to 2-0 in the 68th minute. Morön tried to apply pressure on AIK but had difficulty getting past their defense.

AIK put the final nail in the coffin in the 81st minute when Therese Simonsson scored her second goal of the day, extending the lead to 3-0. Morön attempted to reduce the deficit but never really came close to scoring.
