It was an exciting match at the Jernvallen World Cup arena between Sandvikens IF and Hammarby in Elitettan 2020. The match started at 14:00 on Saturday afternoon, and although the arena was empty of spectators due to the prevailing circumstances, both teams delivered an action-packed game. The refereeing trio, consisting of Dennis Rönnblad, Muhamud Noor Abdikasim, and Katrin De Boer, were present to oversee the play.
Already in the 9th minute, Sandvikens IF took the lead through Sanna Signeul, who scored from the penalty spot. Tension was high on the field as both teams fought to create more goal-scoring opportunities.
Hammarby did not give up, and in the 22nd minute, Emma Jansson managed to head the ball into the net, equalizing at 1-1. The match was now wide open, and both teams continued to press for an advantage.
In the 23rd minute, Sandvikens IF made their first substitution, with Nellie Johansson coming on for Stina Huss. Both teams then went to halftime, and at the start of the second half, Sandvikens IF made another substitution, bringing on Colleen Kennedy for Hanna Sjöström.

Hammarby finished the match strongly, and in order to maintain their lead as time was running out, they made their last two substitutions in the 88th minute. Lawlaw Nazeri came on for Emma Westin, and Felicia Saving replaced Emma Jansson.
The referee blew the final whistle after 90 minutes, and the final score was 1-2 in favor of Hammarby. It was a tough and well-played match where both teams fought hard. Hammarby was ultimately able to decide the match with Emilia Larsson's beautiful free-kick goal. Sandvikens IF, however, put up a strong performance and can be proud of their goal and display on the field.
