It was a rainy afternoon at Strandängens IP A-plan when the Elitettan teams Ifö Bromölla IF and IFK Norrköping FK faced each other. Despite the poor weather, 205 spectators had made their way to the arena to watch the match. Referee Selma Griberg officiated the game, assisted by Maja Nyberg and Mahmood Al-Obaidi.
The match started evenly, with both teams creating chances. In the 24th minute, IFK Norrköping FK made their first substitution, as Emelie Johansson replaced Taylor Marie Townsend. However, it wasn't until the 47th minute that the first goal of the match came, and it was Sabina Ravnell from IFK Norrköping FK who found the back of the net, giving her team the lead.
In the 59th minute, Ifö Bromölla IF made their first substitution, while IFK Norrköping FK made two substitutions in quick succession in the 68th and 70th minutes. Those substitutions proved to be successful, as Lovisa Gustafsson and Emelie Johansson each scored a goal within eight minutes. Clara Flenhagen also scored a beautiful header in the 69th minute, which gave IFK Norrköping FK a strong 3-0 lead.
IFK Norrköping FK continued to play offensively, and My Cato scored a lovely penalty in the 75th minute. At the same time, Ifö Bromölla IF made two substitutions, but to little avail for the team. In the final minutes of the match, both teams made further substitutions, but it was Vilma Hansson from Ifö Bromölla IF who managed to reduce IFK Norrköping FK's lead to 5-1 with her goal in the 84th minute. However, no more goals were scored, and the match ended with a 5-1 victory for IFK Norrköping FK.
After the match, Ifö Bromölla IF remained in 10th place in the table, while IFK Norrköping FK climbed up to 7th place. It was a heavy loss for Ifö Bromölla IF, but IFK Norrköping FK could celebrate taking home three points.
