Växjö visited Älvsjö IP 1 for an exciting match in Elitettan. The first half began with an early goal from Växjö when Mimmi Strömgren headed the ball in the 21st minute. Älvsjö tried to get back into the game but instead received two yellow cards, one for Olivia Ländin Sjöblom and one for Jennifer Wendelius. However, Älvsjö managed to keep Växjö on their toes when Elin Nilsson missed a penalty just before halftime.

At halftime, Älvsjö made a substitution, bringing in Josefin Löbel for Saga Brundin. But despite this, Växjö continued to dominate, and Evelyn Ijeh extended the lead to 2-0 in the 54th minute.
