An exciting match took place as Växjö hosted Lidköpings FK at Visma Arena in Elitettan. Despite the home team being lower in the table, they took the lead in the 17th minute when Evelyn Ijeh shot the ball past Lidköpings FK’s goalkeeper. Växjö were clearly the stronger team in the first half, but they missed several chances, making it a tough match for everyone.

In the second half, Lidköpings FK seized control of the game and quickly leveled the score with a goal from Jenny Stadin in the 53rd minute. However, Växjö focused on attacking play, and just two minutes later, in the 55th minute, Evelyn Ijeh scored her second goal of the day, putting them ahead 2-1. Ijeh wasn’t done there, as she also netted her third goal, completing a hat-trick in the 75th minute.

Lidköpings FK fought for an equalizer and nearly succeeded when the ball hit the back of the net in the 86th minute, but unfortunately, it was an own goal, and the final score remained 3-2 in favor of Växjö. An impressive performance by Ijeh earned Växjö three vital points as they continue their season in Elitettan.
