On that Monday evening at Platinumcars Arena, an exciting match took place between IFK Norrköping FK and IK Uppsala Fotboll. A packed stadium with 783 fans had gathered to watch the game. The first half began with determination from both teams. Uppsala proved to be the stronger side, with several missed passes from Norrköping. Wilma Thörnkvist from Uppsala scored the first goal of the match in the 31st minute, much to the delight of the Uppsala team. She dedicated the goal to her late grandfather by kissing her fingers and showing it to the crowd. Norrköping tried to come back but missed four chances to equalize.

IK Uppsala Fotboll continued their strong form and extended their lead with another goal before halftime. Nicole Robertson scored Uppsala's second goal in the 40th minute. Norrköping looked disappointed and frustrated as the half came to an end.

The second half saw Norrköping bring in three new players – Selma Berggren, Jennie Egeriis, and Azumah Bugre – who helped create several scoring opportunities, but Uppsala maintained their position and kept the ball away from Norrköping's goal. Elsa Burvall received a warning for Norrköping in the 75th minute. Uppsala also made two substitutions – Hanna Persson for Maria Poli and Nicole Robertson for Ella Gunnarsson, who was set to play for the first time in the match.

The match concluded with a warning for Uppsala's coach, Jonas Valfridsson, during stoppage time. The final score was a victory for Uppsala with 0 - 2. Uppsala's Wilma Thörnkvist and Nicole Robertson scored the two goals of the match, and the winning goal was dedicated to their deceased grandfather and her injured teammate who could not attend the game. Uppsala played an excellent match and undoubtedly deserved their victory against Norrköping.
