It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at NP3 Arena where Sundsvalls DFF was set to face Växjö in a match in Elitettan. With 555 spectators in attendance, the atmosphere was fantastic and both teams were eager to get started.

Växjö was the stronger team from the beginning and just six minutes into the game, Thea Birgerud scored the first goal for the guests. Sundsvalls DFF fought hard but struggled to make the decisive pass, and it was instead Växjö who controlled the pace of the game. After 21 minutes, Emma Pennsäter extended the lead to 2-0 for Växjö, and Sundsvalls DFF had a difficult time responding.

After half an hour of play, Sundsvalls DFF received a warning and Växjö's dominance continued. In the 56th minute, Sundsvalls DFF made two substitutions in an attempt to change the course of the match, but it was Mimmi Strömgren who instead increased Växjö's lead to 3-0 with a headed goal in the 64th minute.

Sundsvalls DFF continued to struggle but could not mount a proper counterattack, and Växjö maintained control of the game. In the 85th minute, Mimmi Strömgren scored her second goal of the day, securing a comfortable 4-0 victory for Växjö.

It was an impressive performance by Växjö, who controlled the match from start to finish. Sundsvalls DFF will have to regroup for their next match while Växjö continues to chase the league title.
