It was a truly exciting match played at Kilsta IP A-plan between Rävåsens IK Karlskoga and Gamla Upsala SK. The crowd was present in large numbers to watch the match between these two teams in Elitettan. The match started at 14:00, and referee Thomas Lundqvist, assisted by Andreas Haraldsson and Ghafar Hashem, was there to officiate the game.
Already in the seventh minute, Gamla Upsala SK took the lead with a goal from Sofia Fors, scored from a penalty. Just three minutes later, Ingrid Wixner scored another goal, and Gamla Upsala SK took a convincing 2-0 lead.
However, Rävåsens IK Karlskoga was not going to give up easily, and in the twentieth minute, Karin Weinacht reduced the score to 1-2. Sara Öjebo then scored just five minutes later, and Rävåsens IK Karlskoga equalized at 2-2.
But Gamla Upsala SK quickly made a comeback, and after 36 minutes of play, Sanna Öhlund put the ball in the net, putting Gamla Upsala SK back in the lead at 3-2. Izabell Rydell then increased the lead further, and before halftime, Gamla Upsala SK had taken a 4-2 lead.
In the second half, Rävåsens IK Karlskoga tried to come back into the match and substituted in Ida Adamsson for Elin Berggren. Gamla Upsala SK also made substitutions, bringing in Elin Åkerman for Malin Forssner and Julia Wänglund for Thea Barkfeldt.
After 65 minutes of play, Lisa Frisk scored for Rävåsens IK Karlskoga, reducing the score to 3-4. But despite several chances to equalize, Rävåsens IK Karlskoga could not find the back of the net again, and the match ended 4-3 in favor of Gamla Upsala SK.
