Jitex BK secured a much-needed away victory when they faced BK Häcken at Bravida Arena in Elitettan. The match began promisingly for the visitors as Ema Paljevic scored a free kick into the far corner, giving Jitex a 0-1 lead in the 11th minute. However, BK Häcken quickly equalized through Beatrice Norén in the 27th minute, and the match was open again. But it was Jitex who would take the lead once more, with Tindra Ivarsson Lidström directing the ball into the net to make it 1-2 in the 30th minute.
The second half started with an early goal from Jitex as Ema Paljevic found the net again, increasing the visitors’ lead to 1-3 in the 56th minute. However, BK Häcken did not give up and reduced the deficit to 2-3 through Novalie Jensen in the 62nd minute. But Jitex continued to press, and in the 85th minute, Synne Vatshelle Raa extended the lead to 2-4. In the 90th minute, Nell Morup sealed the deal by setting the final score at 2-5.
The match featured multiple substitutions from both teams, and Jitex was able to implement several tactical changes that proved successful. BK Häcken struggled to find their game and remains at the bottom of the table, while Jitex advanced to ninth place. Cecilia Ekwall was a good referee who maintained a firm grip on the match, assisted by Bashar Hariri and Oskar Kanerva.
