Trelleborgs FF hosted Mallbackens IF Sunne at Vångavallen after a week of preparations for Elitettan. The home team was strong favorites with their second-place position in the league, and it didn't take long before they took the lead. In the 33rd minute, Rio Strand scored 1-0 after a nice pass from Alice Egnér.

Trelleborg continued to dominate, and in the 40th minute, Egnér extended the lead to 2-0 with a powerful shot. Mallbacken tried to get back into the game and made a substitution at halftime, bringing in Linnéa Berger for Ritah Kivumbi.

Unfortunately for the visiting team, Trelleborg would pull further ahead. In the 53rd minute, Elina Lenir scored to make it 3-0, and Mallbacken desperately tried to put pressure on the home team. However, in the 70th minute, a penalty kick taken by Irvina Bajramovic brought Mallbacken back into the game at 3-1.

Trelleborgs FF was not deterred by this, and just ten minutes later, in the 80th minute, Rio Strand scored her second goal of the day, making it Trelleborg's fourth goal of the match. The home team continued to substitute fresh players to maintain possession and protect their lead, ultimately winning the match 4-1 after three successful substitutions.
