It was a chilly Saturday afternoon at Vångavallen when Trelleborgs FF faced Sundsvalls DFF in Elitettan. In front of 981 spectators, the away team found it tough against a Trelleborg side in poor form.

The match began at an even pace, with both teams creating some chances, but the defensive play held firm. Despite several balls around Sundsvall’s penalty area, it wasn't until the 51st minute that Alice Egnér broke the deadlock and got the ball into the net. The home team had quickly taken the lead.

After the goal, Trelleborg ramped up their pressure, making it increasingly difficult for Sundsvall's defense to cope. In the 67th minute, the home team made two substitutions as Johanna Lindblom and Irmeli Jonsson came on for Hanna Persson and Ebba Jahnfors.

Before Sundsvall could settle into the game, Trelleborg scored their second goal. Alice Egnér was once again in the right place at the right time and placed the ball past Sundsvall's goalkeeper.

With just a few minutes left of regular time, Sundsvall seemed to have something brewing when Estibaliz Montes De Oca Munoz came on for Hannah Tillett. But after several eager attacks, Sundsvall eventually managed to score their first goal of the match after 77 minutes. Ella Björkman found the back of the net.

Unfortunately for the away team, there would be no more goals for them in this match. Instead, Trelleborg appeared to gain an extra boost after conceding a goal, and in the 88th minute, Alice Egnér scored her third goal. Shortly thereafter, she found the net again, but this was ruled out as she was deemed to be out of play when she received the ball. However, she wasn't done yet. In the final minutes, Ellen Loncar assisted Alice Egnér, who finished with her third goal of the day, thereby securing her hat trick and Trelleborg's victory with a score of 3-1.

After the match, Trelleborg was in second place in the table while Sundsvall sat in tenth place. An impressive performance by Alice Egnér, who scored all three of Trelleborg's goals. Referee Camilla Friberg and assistant referees Admir Useinovski and Lucas Alm did a great job. It was an entertaining match that provided several exciting moments and chances.
