IF Brommapojkarna had a strong start to the match and took the lead as early as the sixth minute when Marijan Cosic scored to make it 1-0. They extended their lead further through Omar Faraj in the 26th minute, making it 2-0 to the away team.

However, Hammarby managed to reduce the deficit with a penalty goal from Mayckel Lahdo in the 34th minute, adding some excitement to the match. Unfortunately for the home team, IF Brommapojkarna once again increased their lead with another penalty goal, this time from Marijan Cosic in the 57th minute.
