It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Skytteholms IP 1 when Vasalund hosted IFK Haninge in a match in Ettan Norra. In front of a crowd of 487, the home team stepped out as the stronger side from the start. Already after 26 minutes, Andrew Michael Stadler found the net behind IFK Haninge's goalkeeper, putting Vasalund in the lead 1-0. Stadler continued to showcase his goal-scoring ability, and after just three more minutes, it was 2-0 for Vasalund following another goal by Stadler.

IFK Haninge tried to get back into the match but failed to create enough dangerous goal-scoring opportunities. Instead, they found themselves on the defensive and received a warning after 38 minutes when Sulayman Jobarteh brought down a Vasalund player.

Shortly before halftime, Vasalund was awarded a penalty kick, which Elias Durmaz coolly converted. It was 3-0 to the home team.

IFK Haninge made several substitutions at halftime in an attempt to turn the match around. But Vasalund continued to dominate, and a little over a quarter into the second half, Calvin Kabuye extended Vasalund's lead to 4-0.

However, IFK Haninge did not give up. Marcus Mikhail managed to get the ball past Vasalund's goalkeeper, reducing the score to 4-1 in the 57th minute. Vasalund received a warning for a rough tackle shortly thereafter, and the match became tense and intense.

Vasalund made several substitutions in the closing minutes to hold on, and IFK Haninge managed to score a consolation goal in the dying moments of the game with a nice header from Sulayman Jobarteh.

The match ended 4-2 in favor of Vasalund after a dominant performance by the home team. IFK Haninge was unable to bounce back from an early deficit despite several substitutions, and Vasalund took three important points in the battle for a top position in the table.
