Sandvikens IF really showcased a brilliant form when they faced Stockholm Internazionale at the Jernvallen A-plan in the Ettan Norra league. Already in the fifth minute, the home team took the lead through Ahmad Faqa, and just eleven minutes later, Jabir Abdihakim Ali increased the score to 2-0 with a header. They continued to press on, and in the 31st minute, Abdihakim Ali scored his second goal of the evening, again with a header. The guests from Stockholm tried to work their way back into the match but struggled to gain a foothold against an energized Sandviken.

In the 38th minute, Naeem Mohammed managed to score the fourth and final goal for Sandvikens IF during the match. Internazionale tried to keep their heads up, and Cameron Streete managed to score a goal in the 65th minute, but even so, the chances were slim for the away team to turn the match around. In the final minutes, Kevin Ali reduced the score to 4-2, but it was too late for the Stockholm team to catch up to Sandviken's lead.

The match ended 4-2 in favor of Sandvikens IF, who thus took important points in the race for the league title. The crowd at Jernvallen was estimated at 383 people, and the referee for the match was Dino Demo, assisted by Sam Seno and Pontus Östlin.
