It was a sunny Sunday afternoon at LF Arena when Piteå IF FF faced Motala AIF FK in Ettan Norra. In front of a crowd of 273 spectators, a victory was needed for the home team Piteå in their final match of the season to climb up the table. However, it would be Motala who emerged victorious after a high-scoring match that ended 3-6.

Motala started strong and took the lead eight minutes in with a fine shot from Granit Hana. But Piteå quickly responded and equalized through Gustav Nordh in the seventeenth minute. Motala was not satisfied with a draw and regained the lead with a good header from Adam Bark in the twenty-first minute.

Eric Forsberg received a yellow card for Motala in the thirty-first minute, but that did not stop the team from extending their lead again through Granit Hana. Piteå fought back and reduced the deficit with a goal from Viktor Steen in the thirty-sixth minute.

In the second half, Motala made two substitutions, which turned out to be a smart tactical move. Lukas Eek and Albin Ödberg came in and held the ball for the team, preventing Piteå from taking control of the game. In the seventy-fourth minute, Motala increased their lead to 2-4 with a fine performance from Simon Karlsson.

But Piteå would not give up and continued to fight. With ten minutes left in the match, Fredrik Johansson sent in a nice ball that found its way behind Motala's goalkeeper, and Piteå was now just a goal away from equalizing.

However, Motala would seal the deal. With two minutes left in the match, Anton Pellettieri Hennig made a great run and placed the ball behind Piteå's goalkeeper. Elmer Civgin capped off the match with a goal to make it 3-6 in stoppage time.

Motala AIF FK continues to climb up the table, finishing in seventh place. Piteå IF FF ended up in eleventh place in the Ettan Norra standings.
