Assyriska IK welcomed IFK Malmö FK to their home ground at Rosenlunds IP 1 in Jönköping in front of an empty stadium as no spectators were allowed at the match. The referee, Rambod Beigi, was assisted by his linesmen Abdelmasih Gergess and Viktor Sundberg.

Despite Assyriska IK being second to last in the standings, they showed early on that they were ready to fight for three points. Just four minutes into the match, they took the lead through Gustav Sahlin, who struck the ball into the net. Only three minutes later, Adam Rubin doubled the lead to 2-0 for the home team.

However, Assyriska IK demonstrated character, and Gustav Sahlin managed to score his second goal of the match, regaining the lead at 3-2. Despite several substitutions and warnings, neither team could score again until the 90+2 minute. Then, IFK Malmö FK's Philip Persson Lundgren stepped up and headed in the equalizer to make it 3-3.

The match ended in a draw at 3-3, with both teams earning a point from the encounter. It was a thrilling game with many goals and chances, where both teams displayed determination and a will to win.
