Wednesday evening provided an exciting match between FC Trollhättan and Vänersborgs IF. With 1,197 spectators in the stands, it was all systems go from the start.

The match began at a fast pace, and Vänersborgs IF came very close to taking the lead just eight minutes in when a header from Brent Nanchoff hit the crossbar. However, it was FC Trollhättan that would get a big chance after 18 minutes when Vänersborg received a warning for a tough tackle on Ali Al-Habobi.

But instead of a goal for FC Trollhättan, it would be Vänersborgs IF that took the lead after 24 minutes. Yassine Assam scored the goal following a nice pass from another newcomer, Nickmål.

At halftime, FC Trollhättan made two substitutions in an attempt to turn the match around. Richard Cindric and Alibek Aliev came on for Johan Andersson and Fredrik Winroth.

The second half was more even, and both teams created several chances, but it wasn't until the 83rd minute that FC Trollhättan would find the net. Alen Kasumovic scored the goal after a great setup from Richard Cindric.

The match ended 1-1 after an exciting finish. FC Trollhättan remains in fourth place in the standings while Vänersborgs IF is in tenth place. Admir Hasanbegovic was the main referee, with Abdelmasih Gergess and Elis Kvrgic as assistant referees.
