Ahlafors IF fought hard and secured a crucial victory against Åtvidabergs FF in front of a small crowd of 128 people at Svenska Stenhus Arena 3 Konstgräs. Ahlafors entered the game in 13th place in the Ettan Södra league, while their opponents were in 9th place, so a win was essential for them to move up the table.

The game saw an intense start, with both teams showing their aggression early on by committing fouls. Ahlafors' Nowa Jatta was the first to be cautioned in the 30th minute, followed by Hannes Lennartsson from Åtvidabergs shortly thereafter.

The second half offered much more excitement, as Ahlafors striker Nils Strandahl scored the opening goal in the 53rd minute with an impeccable assist from Samuel Edlund. Åtvidabergs received two yellow cards, one for Gustav Rydberg in the 60th minute and the second for their coach Anders Bååth in the 62nd minute.

It was a challenging period for Ahlafors' coach Michell Berntsson Gonzalez as he saw his player Nuha Jatta being sent off in the 69th minute following a hard challenge. But Åtvidabergs quickly took advantage of their one-man advantage and found an equalizer through a penalty kick from José Segura Bonilla.

The game could have gone either way, but Ahlafors were not to be undone, as Strandahl once again found the back of the net in the 72nd minute, bringing his tally to two goals for the match. Daniel Tidstrand provided an excellent assist which Strandahl converted into another goal.

Ahlafors' Pascal Olsson and Kristian Kocevski were the next to be cautioned in the 85th and 77th minutes, respectively. Åtvidabergs attempted to make some changes by bringing on Mohammad Ahmadi and Fredrik Cårebo for Erik Grandelius and Albin Bergström, respectively, but failed to change the outcome of the match.

Ahlafors made two changes in the closing minutes, bringing on Victor Andersson and Oscar Samuelsson for Anomnachi Chidi and Jesper Zetterlund, respectively. The game ended 2-1, with Ahlafors IF emerging victorious and moving up the league table.
