On Sunday afternoon, Norrby IF met Torns IF in a match in Ettan Södra at Borås Arena. The audience was not particularly large, with only 149 people taking their seats in the stands. The referee for the match was Jasin Holmegren, and the assistant referees were Shahab Lazar and Bartek Svaberg.
Already after seven minutes of play, Julius Johansson from Norrby IF scored the first goal after a pass from Max Olsson. Just four minutes later, Marcus Mikhail made it 2-0 for the home team. The beginning of the second half looked similar to the first: Norrby IF dominated. Julius Johansson scored his second goal of the match in the 53rd minute, while Lass Hamawand came on for Torns IF in place of Granit Stagova and Ossian Hallberg replaced Adam Olofsson.
Norrby IF kept up the pressure, and Marcus Victorio scored his second goal of the day with Nils Wallenberg providing the assist. He and Olle Backlund then replaced Alexander Thongla-Iad Warneryd.
Victorio completed his hat trick in the 66th minute with an assist from Olle Backlund. After Norrby IF substituted Julius Johansson and Max Olsson for Anton Pärleholt and Nino Osmanagic, they also substituted Marcus Victorio for Anton Wede.
However, Torns IF did not give up and managed to score their second goal of the match through Omar Khattab in the 80th minute. But it was not enough to turn the match around, as Anton Wede scored an eighth goal for Norrby IF in the 86th minute.
Despite Ludvig Bergman reducing the score for Torns IF one last time in the 90th minute, it was Norrby IF who emerged victorious with a final score of 8-3. Following the match, Norrby IF was in sixth place in the standings, while Torns IF was in twelfth place.
