It was wonderful weather at Rimnersvallen when IK Oddevold hosted Ahlafors IF in an important match in Ettan Södra. The home team was leading the league before the match and was eager to increase their points tally against an Ahlafors IF that was second to last in the standings. With 1,523 spectators present, it was a delightful football evening.

The match started with an early penalty awarded to IK Oddevold, but Ahlafors' goalkeeper made a save and kept a clean sheet. Ahlafors received an early warning, and the match continued at a very slow pace. However, in the 57th minute, IK Oddevold finally took the lead with a free kick from Liridon Kalludra that was deflected into the net. Just seven minutes later, Oscar Iglicar Berntsson doubled the lead with a sharp shot from distance.

IK Oddevold did not allow Ahlafors IF to recover from the setback and continued to press forward. In the 75th minute, Alexander Almqvist extended the lead with a header, and just six minutes later, Adam Engelbrektsson scored the fourth goal for the home team with a nice pass from Daniel Krezic. Ahlafors IF had nothing to counter with, and the match ended 4-0 in favor of IK Oddevold.

The spectators at Rimnersvallen witnessed a fantastic football match, and IK Oddevold solidified their position as league leaders. Ahlafors IF will have to keep fighting to climb up the table.
