The eagerly awaited match between Umeå Södra FF and Bollstanäs SK took place at Tegstunets IP in front of an enthusiastic crowd of 127 people. Referee Camilla Eriksson officiated the match with assistance from Emil Larsson and Robert Nordin.
It was the home team Umeå Södra FF that took the lead in the 22nd minute when Victoria Forsmark scored the first goal. Shortly after, Anna Arevärn doubled the lead, and it seemed that Bollstanäs SK was struggling to keep up. Lisa Hurtig then expanded the lead to 3-0 from the penalty spot before halftime.
In the 40th minute, however, Bollstanäs SK regained some control when Jennifer Meier reduced the score to 3-1. But Umeå Södra FF responded quickly in the second half when Linda Eklund scored the fourth goal in the 51st minute.
Bollstanäs SK didn’t give up, fighting their way back into the match with goals from Sara Amborn and Johanna Enström in the 80th and 85th minutes. Despite a final push, they were unable to fully catch up, and the match ended 4-3 in favor of Umeå Södra FF.
It was an intense match where both teams showcased good football and fought until the last moment. Umeå Södra FF ultimately managed to come out on top and secure three important points in Norrettan.
