AIK FF Dominates Vasalunds IF in Norrettan Match

This Sunday afternoon at Skytteholms IP 1 in Solna, AIK FF and Vasalunds IF faced off in a Norrettan match in the women's league system. The match drew 269 spectators and was officiated by Alicia Eklund, assisted by Laura Rapp and Magdalena Franzén.

AIK FF was the stronger team at the start of the match, and it didn't take long for them to score the first goal. In the 10th minute, Susan Kiryo found the net, giving AIK FF a 1-0 lead.

Vasalunds IF tried to get into the match but struggled to penetrate the opponent's half. In the 26th minute, Victoria Wahlstedt received a yellow card after an attempted attack.

AIK FF continued to dominate the match, and in the 31st minute, Daniela Chamuon scored the second goal for the home team, extending the lead to 2-0.

In the second half, AIK FF gave it their all, and it didn't take long for them to add two more goals. In the 48th minute, Clara Markstedt assisted a goal, followed by Daniela Chamuon’s second goal of the match in the 52nd minute.

Vasalunds IF managed to score a consolation goal in the 67th minute through Isabell Hammarbäck, but it was not enough to turn the match around. AIK FF continued to play well and added two more goals. In the 70th minute, Jennie Nordin scored to make it 6-1 for AIK FF, sealing the match.

Vasalunds IF received another yellow card in the 71st minute after Ellinor Lindbom attempted to stop an AIK FF attack. Vasalunds IF tried substituting players to change the dynamics of the game, with Emma Wiorek replacing Vera Wejner in the 56th minute and then taking over for Ellinor Lindbom in the 73rd minute.

AIK FF never stopped fighting and later made two substitutions of their own. Jackie Kisch Brunzell came on for Clara Markstedt in the 80th minute, and Shamiram Yakob replaced Jennie Nordin in the 86th minute. Emma Ericsson substituted for Malin Diaz at the same time.

AIK FF was the stronger team throughout the match and ultimately won 6-1. With this victory, they solidify their position in second place on the table, while Vasalunds IF remains in ninth place after the defeat.
