Gustafs GoIF had home advantage at Morbyvallen when they faced Vasalunds IF in an exciting northern league match for women. The halftime break provided temporary relief for Vasalunds IF, but it didn’t take long for Gustafs to continue the pressure in the second half.

Just three minutes into the second half, Fredrika Eriksson scored to increase the lead to 3-0 for Gustafs. Vasalunds tried to shake off the recent goal and aim for a reduction, but it didn’t end happily for them. Gustafs continued with high defensive intensity, and after a final warning to Vasalunds’ Catharina Borgström, the match concluded with a 3-0 victory for Gustafs.

Thanks to this result, Gustafs GoIF passed Vasalunds IF in the standings and added three new points to their season. With only 132 spectators at Morbyvallen, it wasn’t a major public celebration, but those who were there witnessed a strong Gustafs team in action. Referee Jörgen Edvardsson and assistant referees Josefin Aronsson and Erik Yngvesson oversaw a well-organized match that flowed smoothly without significant interruptions.
