Match Report:
Hammarby IF DFF and Gustafs GoIF met at Hammarby IP in front of an audience of zero. The referee Jens Edström blew the whistle to start the match on Saturday afternoon, and it didn't take long before the home team took the lead. Already after three minutes, Ellinor Lindbom scored 1-0 for Hammarby.
After half an hour of play, Rosie Malone-Povolny made it 2-0 for Hammarby, and just four minutes later, Cathrine Dahlström extended the lead to 3-0. Before halftime, Mathilda Hagman also scored to make it 4-0 for Hammarby, giving the team a comfortable lead heading into the second half.
Towards the end of the first half, however, Gustafs GoIF received a warning when Lina Cederhorn was cautioned. In the second half, Gustafs reduced the score through Sophia Hedman and Marijana Rajcic, but Hammarby held on and ultimately won 4-2.
In summary, it was an entertaining encounter between the teams, with Hammarby being the stronger side and managing to control the match. However, Gustafs did not give up and fought until the end, managing to score two goals on the road.
