Piteå IF DFF had full control during Sunday's match against Kungsbacka DFF. Already in the sixth minute, Nina Jakobsson scored to make it 1-0 after a nice pass from Julia Karlernäs. Kungsbacka tried to fight their way back into the match, but Piteå IF DFF's defense made it difficult for them to create dangerous goal-scoring opportunities. In the 25th minute, Ronja Aronsson doubled Piteå's lead after a corner kick.

Just eleven minutes later, Karlernäs had the opportunity to extend the lead from the penalty spot, which she did. Kungsbacka attempted to reduce the deficit, but instead, it was Madelen Janogy who scored the fourth goal of the match for Piteå IF DFF in the 52nd minute.

Kungsbacka brought in Linnéa Bjöörn and Mimmi Asperot, which gave them a bit more energy going forward. It was also Asperot who reduced the score for the home team in the 63rd minute after a nice assist from Klara Rybrink. But just four minutes later, Janogy once again increased Piteå's lead with her second goal of the day.

The match ended 1-5 in favor of Piteå IF DFF, who achieved their third consecutive victory in the OBOS Damallsvenskan. Kungsbacka DFF will have to continue fighting to climb up the table.
