It was Sunday afternoon and everything was ready for an exciting football match at LF Arena. Piteå IF DFF took on Växjö DFF in a match that was important for both teams. The crowd was 627 and the referee for the match was Ulrica Löv, assisted by Ayse Bozkurt and Alisa Levälampi.

The match started evenly and both teams fought hard to get an early goal. In the end, it was Piteå that managed to do it, when Julia Karlernäs headed the ball in in the 41st minute. Assist was made by Madelen Janogy, and Piteå took the lead 1-0.

However, Växjö fought on and in the 44th minute Emmi Alanen made a nice goal-scoring pass to Ria Noora Minerva Öling, who managed to get the ball into the net. It was tied, and the match was in full swing again.

In the 66th minute, Växjö made their first substitution, when Violah Nambi was replaced by Mimmi Strömgren. But it didn't help, because in the 75th minute Madelen Janogy scored her second goal of the game and Piteå took the lead again, 2-1.

Piteå continued to press and in the 79th minute Julia Karlernäs scored another goal, with an assist from Madelen Janogy again. Piteå now led 3-1 and it looked as if the game was decided.

But Piteå wanted more and in the 83rd minute Olga Ekblom scored a goal, with an assist from Andrea Norheim. Piteå had now increased their lead to 4-1.

Piteå made their last change, when Linnea Selberg was replaced by Andrea Norheim. The match continued for a while, but there were no more goals.

After the match, Piteå was in 7th place in the table and Växjö was in 9th place. It had been an exciting match where Piteå had taken a well-deserved victory.
