Djurgårdens IF FF secured a convincing victory against Kungsbacka DFF when they met at Stockholm Stadium in the OBOS Damallsvenskan. The home team, who were second to last in the table before the match, dominated and took control of the game from the start. Kungsbacka DFF, who were at the bottom of the table, struggled to establish any rhythm and could not match the pace of the home side.

It took until the 28th minute for the first warning sign to appear, as Kungsbacka DFF's number 17, Ida Strömblad, received a yellow card from referee Sara Wiinikka. Strömblad would soon be substituted when Kungsbacka made a change at halftime, bringing off Anna Norheim for Klara Rybrink.

Djurgården continued to press, and in the 57th minute, they were awarded a penalty after a handball in Kungsbacka's penalty area. Mia Jalkerud converted the penalty, giving the home team a 1-0 lead.

After the goal, it became even clearer that Djurgården had control of the match. Kungsbacka made their second substitution, with Karolina Bucaro Stenman replacing Moa Öhman. Djurgården responded with a substitution of their own, as Alexandra Lindberg came on for Julia Walentowicz.

In the 66th minute, Djurgården extended their lead when Irma Helin Zibanejad scored a goal following a great pass from Tilde Lindwall. Kungsbacka made their final substitution in the 76th minute, with Hanna Boubezari replacing Pernilla Milton. However, it was Djurgården who controlled the match, displaying solid defensive play.

In the 82nd minute, Djurgården scored again when Tilde Lindwall found the net after a fine pass from Olivia Schough. Kungsbacka grew tired and could not turn the match around, resulting in a 3-0 victory for Djurgården. The Djurgården fans in the stands celebrated the victory, and the home team was delighted with a much-needed win in the battle to avoid relegation.
