On a sunny Sunday afternoon, Djurgårdens IF FF faced Piteå IF DFF at Stockholm Stadium 1 in front of an audience of 1,238 people. It turned out to be an entertaining match where both teams created a number of chances.

Already after thirteen minutes, the visitors took the lead through Brazilian player Fernanda Da Silva, who headed the ball in after a nice assist from Nina Jakobsson. However, Djurgården would not be discouraged, and nine minutes before halftime, Mia Jalkerud converted a penalty to equalize after a handball in the penalty area.

At halftime, the home team made a substitution, with Fanny Lång replaced by Ogonna Chukwudi. However, it was Piteå who started the second half strongest, and five minutes into the half, Julia Karlernäs headed in to make it 2-1 after receiving a great ball from Selina Henriksson.

After just over an hour of play, both teams received yellow cards, first Selina Henriksson and then Ingibjörg Sigurdardottir. Djurgården then made their second substitution, with Tilde Lindwall replacing Irma Helin Zibanejad. Overall, there were many substitutions during the match, and with just under five minutes left, Piteå made their final substitution as Linnea Selberg replaced the match's first goalscorer, Fernanda Da Silva.

However, it would turn out that Piteå's lead was not enough. First, Tilde Lindwall reduced the deficit to 2-3 with a nice pass from Mia Jalkerud in the 83rd minute. Then, just six minutes later, Jalkerud scored her second goal of the match to equalize at 3-3 following a good turnaround play by Djurgården.

The match concluded with one substitution from each team, where Linn Viklund replaced Josefin Johansson for Piteå, and Gudrun Arnardottir replaced goalscorer Jalkerud for Djurgården. After 90 entertaining minutes at Stockholm Stadium 1, the match ended, and both teams left the pitch with one point each. Djurgården remains in tenth place in the standings, while Piteå sits in seventh place.
