It was an exciting match played between Växjö and AIK in the OBOS Damallsvenskan. The match took place at Visma Arena in Växjö on a Saturday afternoon in front of a small crowd of only eight people. The referee for the day was Ahmed Al-Kodri, assisted by Jilan Taher and Viktoria Månsson.

Already in the 12th minute, Växjö player Alexandra Jonasson was cautioned by the referee. Not long after, AIK player Hannah Davison was also cautioned in the 16th minute. The game became tough, leading to another warning in the 22nd minute for AIK's Emma Santamäki.

In the 30th minute, Växjö had the opportunity to take the lead with a penalty kick taken by Signe Holt Andersen. Unfortunately, she missed, as the AIK goalkeeper was able to make the save.

During the second half, AIK made two substitutions to inject new energy into the team. In the 57th minute, Clara Härdling came on for Emma Santamäki, and later in the 64th minute, Adelisa Grabus was replaced by Rusul Rosa Kafaji.

Växjö also decided to make a substitution in the 66th minute, bringing in Madeline Gotta for Evelina Duljan. Despite several attempts from both teams, it wasn’t until the 71st minute that the first goal was scored. AIK’s Nora Rönnfors scored to make it 0-1 for her team, putting pressure on Växjö.

However, Växjö would not give up. In the 85th minute, they had a chance to equalize with a penalty kick taken by Emmi Alanen. She made no mistake and put the ball in the net. The score became level at 1-1, and both teams fought to find another goal before the final whistle.

Despite several attempts from both sides, neither team was able to find the back of the net again. The match ended 1-1, and both teams had to settle for one point each. It was a well-played match with tough challenges, but also with some beautiful goals and several missed opportunities.
