FC Rosengård hosted Hammarby at Malmö IP in front of a restricted crowd of only eight people on Saturday afternoon. In the 65th minute, Hammarby made two substitutions in hopes of turning the match around, but it was FC Rosengård who continued to be the controlling team. In the 73rd minute, Hanna Folkesson scored with a header for Hammarby, reducing the score to 3-1, but it was not enough to threaten FC Rosengård's lead.

The match ended 3-1 in favor of FC Rosengård, allowing the home team to secure three important points early in the season. Despite a strong effort from both teams, it was FC Rosengård who proved to be the stronger and more effective side throughout the match.
