Linköping Arena was filled with expectant supporters as Linköpings FC faced Hammarby in an exciting match in the OBOS Damallsvenskan on Friday evening. The teams were on site and ready to fight for three points in this important match.

It didn’t take long before Hammarby took the lead. In the fourth minute, Emilia Larsson managed to head the ball into the net, making it 0-1 on the scoreboard. Linköpings FC quickly responded, and in the 17th minute, Sofie Bruun Bredgaard equalized to 1-1.

Hammarby had a golden opportunity to regain the lead when they were awarded a penalty in the 27th minute. Emma Jansson was ice-cold and securely put the ball in the net, giving Hammarby a 1-2 lead. However, Linköpings FC did not let themselves be discouraged, and ten minutes later it was once again Sofie Bruun Bredgaard who found the net, equalizing to 2-2 with an assist from Heidi Elisabeth Ellingsen.

The second half began with a warning to Hammarby's Alice Carlsson in the 50th minute. It wouldn’t be long before Linköpings FC took the lead for the first time in the match. Nilla Fischer scored to make it 3-2 in the 51st minute, giving her team a narrow lead.

The match continued with intense play, and both teams created dangerous chances. In the 62nd minute, it was Hammarby’s turn to level the score. Matilda Vinberg put the ball in the net with an assist from Madelen Janogy, and the match was now tied at 3-3.
