It was a sunny Sunday afternoon at Valhalla 1 Artificial Grass when BK Häcken FF faced AIK in the OBOS Damallsvenskan. BK Häcken was determined to secure another victory and continue their challenge at the top of the table, while AIK aimed to gain points to climb upwards.
The match started at a high tempo, and BK Häcken took the lead just three minutes in. Stina Blackstenius became the scorer after an assist from Anna Julia Csiki. It didn't take long for Blackstenius to net her second goal of the day after an assist from Elin Rubensson.
AIK fought to get back into the match, but BK Häcken played with great confidence, and just after 17 minutes, Milica Mijatovic scored her first goal of the day. Following that, Anna Julia Csiki beautifully converted a free kick behind the goalkeeper, and BK Häcken went into halftime with a clear 4-0 lead.
The second half began with Lotta Ökvist scoring her first goal of the season after an assist from Elin Rubensson. Rubensson then received a yellow card for a tough tackle but continued to deliver successful passes, scoring her own goal after 57 minutes with an assist from Blackstenius.
BK Häcken continued to dominate the match, and Blackstenius completed her hat trick by putting the ball into an open goal. Johanna Rytting Kaneryd and Diljá Ýr Zomers also scored a goal each, increasing BK Häcken's lead to 9-0.
AIK fought hard to avoid a disastrous scoreline, but Diljá Ýr Zomers added her first goal of the season, sealing the final result at 10-0. The match ended with substitutions on both sides, but there was no doubt that BK Häcken was the superior team on this day.
With this victory, BK Häcken maintains their second place in the table and gains a larger goal difference than their competitors. Meanwhile, AIK continues to struggle to avoid relegation.
The spectators at Valhalla 1 Artificial Grass witnessed a magnificent performance from the home team, with Stina Blackstenius standing out with three goals and two assists. The referee Dino Demo maintained a good level of the game, and assistant referees Josefin Aronsson and Josefine Bastås raised their flags high.
