The match started with a high tempo as both teams fought to take control of the game. It was Växjö who took the lead just ten minutes in when Evelyn Ijeh scored to make it 1-0 with an assist from Alexandra Jonasson.

Växjö continued to apply pressure and extend their lead, and it wasn’t long before Ijeh struck again, making it 2-0 after a nice pass from Juliette Mikaela Kemppi.

The second half looked much calmer. KIF Örebro DFF had several chances to equalize, but Växjö held firm and defended their lead. In the 36th minute, Eva Dessislava Dupuy received a warning from the referee, which contributed to Örebro having several free kicks, but they could not capitalize on them.
