Vittsjö GIK started the match strongly, and in just the seventh minute, Jutta Rantala scored a goal after a nice assist from Sarah Stratigakis, setting the tone for the rest of the match. Just four minutes later, Rantala scored her second goal of the day following great teamwork from the entire Vittsjö team.

Djurgården tried to get back into the match but struggled to break through Vittsjö's defense. Just before halftime, Rantala scored her third goal, thereby taking the lead in the goalscoring chart.

In the second half, Djurgården made three substitutions in hopes of changing the outcome, but Vittsjö continued to play strongly, and after 62 minutes, Sarah Stratigakis scored the goal that sealed the game. Vittsjö GIK also made substitutions to give all players a chance to showcase their skills. Kayla Adamek and Tempest-Marie Norlin came on and made a positive impact on the field.

The final part of the match became a bit tougher, and both Clara Markstedt and Alice Bergström received yellow cards. After a hard tackle, Portia Boakye was sent off, diminishing Djurgården's chances of coming back in the game.

With two minutes left of regular time, Vittsjö's Kayla Adamek scored after a nice assist from Moa Karlsson. Djurgården managed to score a consolation goal in stoppage time through Lova Lundin, but Vittsjö GIK ultimately won the match with a score of 5-1.
