The sunny Saturday afternoon at Fredriksbergs IP A featured an intense match between Linköping Kenty DFF and Tölö IF in the women's Söderettan league. In front of an audience of 62 people, it was Tölö IF that took control from the start.
Just five minutes into the game, Mimmi Asperot managed to score 1-0 for Tölö IF, and only three minutes later, Frida Skogman extended the lead to 2-0. However, Linköping Kenty DFF fought their way back into the match when Dafina Memedov reduced the deficit to 1-2 in the 17th minute.
Tölö IF regained their two-goal lead when Mimmi Asperot scored her second goal of the day in the 19th minute. Julia Strahl received a yellow card just before halftime, and in the 41st minute, the teams went to the break with the score at 1-3 in favor of Tölö IF.
The second half brought more goals as Julia Strahl increased Tölö’s lead to 1-4 in the 56th minute. However, Linköping Kenty DFF did not back down without a fight, and Nada Jacob reduced the score to 2-4 shortly after entering the match in the 62nd minute.
Tölö IF quickly responded with Elin Svenberg scoring to make it 2-5 in the 75th minute. Despite several substitutions from both teams, neither side found the net again until the 90th minute when Erika Petersson reduced the score to 3-5 for Linköping Kenty DFF.
When referee Jilan Taher blew the whistle to end the match, it was clear that Tölö IF had won 3-5 and secured three important points away from home, while Linköping Kenty DFF had to settle for eighth place in the standings following a tough loss.
