Despite this, it was Östers IF that once again extended their lead to 3-1 with a goal from Nellie Ohlsson in the 70th minute. Kalmar did not give up and continued to fight, which resulted in two quick goals. First, Cassandra Olofsson reduced the score to 3-2 in the 75th minute, and then Amanda Arnautovic equalized to 3-3 just two minutes later.
The match was exciting right up to the final whistle, but neither team managed to score a winning goal. The audience at Arenastaden witnessed an entertaining match between two evenly matched teams that ended 3-3.
