It was a lovely spring day at Ängelholm IP when the teams Ängelholms FF and Väsby United faced each other in the Superettan. The crowd was present and the atmosphere was at its peak before the match. Referee Martin Strömbergsson kicked off the match at 5:00 PM on Sunday afternoon.

The match started with a bang, and after just 18 minutes of play, there was an immediate yellow card when Ängelholms FF's Mikael Dahlgren received a caution. After 29 minutes, Väsby United took the lead 1-0 when Fredrik Holster scored a goal. Just a few minutes later, he received a yellow card as well. Before halftime, Ängelholms FF managed to equalize when Jonas Nilsson found the net.

The second half began strongly for the home team Ängelholms FF, who took the lead 2-1 after only nine minutes when Jakob Augustsson scored. Väsby United substituted Sotirios Papagiannopoulos for Mikael Wentzel in an effort to turn the match around. Ängelholms FF replaced Björn Westerblad with Patrik Larsson.

Väsby United had several chances to equalize during the second half, but it wasn't until the 90th minute that they managed to score again. It was Carl Elfgren who netted Väsby United's second goal, which meant the match ended 2-2.

Ängelholms FF brought in Johan Mangfors for David Bennhage and Johan Blomberg for Jonas Lindh toward the end of the match in an attempt to press for a winning goal, but it didn’t go their way.

The match concluded with a shared point, and the crowd was more than satisfied with the entertainment. Referee Martin Strömbergsson and his assistants Matija Rafaj and Peter Arnesson had a good handle on the game and managed it well.
