It was an exciting evening at Borlänge Energi Arena when IK Brage faced Assyriska FF. With an audience of 1,975 people and Bojan Pandzic as the referee, the match started promisingly.
Assyriska FF received two yellow cards within 31 minutes, the first to David Björkeryd and the second to Andi Toompuu.
In the 37th minute, Johan Eklund scored a goal, giving IK Brage a 1-0 lead. Just before halftime, in the 42nd minute, Daniel Åkervall extended the lead with another goal. Several substitutions were made during the match, both by IK Brage and at halftime by Assyriska FF, where Mattias Genc replaced Nahir Besara.
In the second half, Assyriska FF managed to get closer with a goal from Mattias Genc in the 55th minute, which gave them hope. A late equalizer from Assyriska FF in the 90th minute by Ceyhun Eris found the back of the net, resulting in a 2-2 draw. Nevertheless, it was an exciting match to watch with great performances from both teams.
