Östers IF defeated Ljungskile SK 2-1 in an exciting match at Starke Arvid Arena in front of an audience of 821 spectators.

It was Östers IF that took the lead in the 27th minute when Freddy Borg scored 1-0 after a nice spin move. Just a few minutes later, Olivier Karekezi extended the lead to 2-0 with a beautiful finish.

In the second half, Ljungskile SK managed to reduce the deficit through Robin Iglicar, who made it 1-2 after a nice pass. Despite several attempts from both teams, neither was able to score again, and the match ended 2-1 in favor of Östers IF.

Östers IF demonstrated solid defending and held off Ljungskile SK’s attacking attempts. Referee Sven-Martin Åkesson kept a close eye on the game and issued warnings to David Durmaz from Ljungskile SK, as well as Danny Tadaris and Alexander Henningsson from Östers IF during the match.

With this victory, Östers IF was able to take home three points from the meeting with Ljungskile SK and continue their fight in Superettan.
