It was an exciting match between Östers IF and Ljungskile SK at Arenastaden in Växjö. Ljungskile took the lead just ten minutes in through Gabriel Altemark Vanneryr. Östers tried to equalize, but Ljungskile held firm and doubled their lead to 2-0, again thanks to Vanneryr, just five minutes into the second half.

However, Östers fought hard, and four minutes later, Enes Smajlovic scored to reduce the deficit for the home team. This put pressure on Ljungskile, and with 13 minutes left in the match, Freddy Borg made it 2-2, giving Östers a chance to take the lead.

There were several substitutions on both sides during the match, with changes that sometimes had an effect and at other times did not. The match ended 2-2, which was a fair result considering the play and opportunities for both teams.

Referee Jim Petersson, along with his assistants André Ovenberger and Albert Andersson, had full control of the match, and the audience at Arenastaden was pleased with the exciting game they were treated to.
