On Sunday evening, it became clear for the summer feet at Arenastaden in Växjö that it was time for an exciting match between Östers IF and Assyriska FF. Unreal soccer weather, with a crowd of 2,150 and referee Bojan Pandzic along with his assistants Henrik Svensson and Daniel Ekman.

Östers IF started the match strongest and took the lead after 20 minutes of play. Freddy Borg scored a beautiful goal, putting Östers IF ahead 1-0. Assyriska FF made a substitution at halftime, with Kyle Konwea coming on for David Björkeryd.

Assyriska FF had a strong second half and managed to equalize the match after 75 minutes of play when Andreas Haddad scored the important goal. After a nerve-wracking final part of the match, it ended in a draw with a score of 1-1.

Östers IF made several substitutions in an attempt to find the decisive goal, but unfortunately, no player managed to get the ball in the net. Assyriska FF held firm and took home a point from the match, while they might curse the fact that they didn't press harder as they had Östers on the ropes several times in the latter part of the match.

Overall, it was an exciting match between two teams that went out and showcased everything they could on the field. Now both teams look forward to the next match in the Superettan league, hoping to win the next time they meet on the field.
