Venue: Stora Valla
Attendance: 2,377

Degerfors IF defeated IK Brage 1-0 in a tough match on Monday evening at Stora Valla. In front of an audience of 2,377, it was Degerfors who took the lead in the 78th minute when Peter Samuelsson scored 1-0 after a nice pass from Martin Broberg, who had just come on as a substitute.

The match started evenly with chances for both sides, but neither Degerfors nor Brage managed to create anything particularly dangerous. As the match progressed, Degerfors increased the pressure, and in the 60th minute, Christophe Lallet was substituted for Martin Broberg to add pace to the attack.

IK Brage responded with several substitutions in an attempt to shake things up for Degerfors, but it was the home team that ultimately managed to score the decisive goal. Despite Brage's efforts to equalize before the final whistle, Degerfors held on and celebrated an important victory.

Referee Fredrik Lundberg and his assistants Fredrik Johansson and Patrik Klintberg had a calm evening with only three bookings, two for Brage and one for Degerfors. Sebastien Karlsson was booked in the final minute for the home team.

Degerfors takes three points and remains in ninth place in the table, while Brage sits in sixth place with the same number of points. New challenges await both teams in Superettan.
