Match in Superettan 2010
Match start: 2010-10-23 at 16:00
Venue: Vilundavallen 1
Attendance: 3,600

It was an important match for both teams at Vilundavallen when Väsby United faced Syrianska FC in front of a large crowd of 3,600 people. The home team was at the bottom of the table and had little chance of avoiding relegation, while the visitors from Södertälje had the opportunity to win the league. Syrianska FC gave it their all and ultimately won 3-0.

After just six minutes into the match, it was the home team that received the first yellow card when Sotirios Papagiannopoulos came late into a duel. Syrianska FC was the better team and took the lead with a penalty by Peter Ijeh in the 24th minute. The home team's defense was far too passive when Ijeh slipped through and fell under a foot. Referee Johan Hamlin pointed to the penalty spot, and Ijeh made no mistakes.

A few minutes later, it was Haris Skenderovic's turn to receive a yellow card for Syrianska FC after a fierce tackle. Syrianska FC continued to press and in the 37th minute, Ijeh once again maneuvered past Väsby's defenders, and the header that followed went in behind the goalkeeper.

The second half started with a yellow card for Denis Velic of Syrianska FC following an infringement. The visitors continued to dominate, and just eleven minutes into the half, Yussuf Saleh scored the third goal for the team with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area.

The home team desperately tried to score a consolation goal, but Syrianska FC defended well and kept Väsby United at bay. There were many substitutions from both teams in the second half, but none had a significant impact on the match.

When the referee blew the final whistle, it was clear that Syrianska FC had won 3-0, thereby securing the league title. Väsby United was relegated from Superettan after a tough season.
